3-Aug-2021: Travel to Kiruna

We (Elena, Sophie, Steven and Alessandro) are traveling to Kiruna, Sweden.

More precisely, to the Esrange Space Center. This is, for us, the start of the long-prepared and long-awaited TWIN – Hemera campaign. We will meet there our colleagues from France and Germany – some of which already arrived some days ago to start the preparations. We are looking forward to getting to Esrange, which is a premiere for the four of us, and to a great, fun and successful campaign.

(Later) Our luggage did not make it (yet), so we needed to do some shopping… But the weather was great, and we had a nice drive from Kiruna to Esrange, through a beautiful forested landscape. We even saw reindeer – crossing the road indolently in front of our car. I hope we see more of them during the coming weeks.
